About me
I live in Central London and love to meet my clients in person at least once if they are based nearby or passing through.
However, I mostly work on the phone, via email and on zoom. I have written several books for and worked with lots of clients who live abroad, who I have still (sadly) never met.
Qualifications:
I have a business degree, a post-grad in journalism and a MA in creative writing. I began my writing life as a feature journalist in my twenties, but by my early thirties I’d moved to books. Since then I’ve written over 15 books for clients, from original idea to end product, including a Sunday Times bestseller, and helped with countless more, including memoirs, business books, academic books and coffee table books. (I also had three kids, now adults, and a wonderful dog, now 93. It was a busy time.)
Why work with me?
I’m friendly and non-judgemental, and my focus at all times is helping you get the book you want.
Writing a book can feel overwhelming and even frightening if you haven’t done it before, but really it’s fun. It’s a little like putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle when you don’t necessarily have the box with the whole picture on. Words are my thing, and I get to meet so many interesting and different people with stories they want to tell but don’t know how to do it. I get a window into their world and a crash course in their area of expertise through our collaboration, and I come away feeling privileged to have worked with them and learned about a different side of life altogether.
